Fajr Salah: Morning Prayer - The most refreshing blessing from Almighty

Good day my dear readers,

I have blogged and blogged about many things under the globe :-) But now after a long break I have decided to blog about myself. This is because of a true realization that speaking about things which I cannot change is not going to be of any use for myself and others too. Also speaking of things which I can change of myself will improve my confidence of this world. It would also let other people know how I changed myself shall help them to also think about it.

Waking up for Fajr Salah or the morning prayer is obligatory to every Muslim.I have not been sincere in this duty of mine. But recently I feel more closer to Almighty than every other things in this world....Reasons are many....Rather than personal it is a common worry that changed me.

The world and its happenings are getting worse day after day. Leaders all around the world speak about making changed for good. But nothing is becoming possible. May be because we the human race has disobeyed our master,The Creator in all possible ways.

The Bible says - "Fear of lord is the beginning of wisdom". But today to spot God fearing people it is very difficult. All are fearless. Can it be called courage or bravery? Because when you are not feared of punishments you commit more and more sins. The same prophet quoted as Solomon in bible is Sulaiman (A) in The Quran. But today merely people argue who is best, the Christian or the Hindu or the Muslim, while forgetting the Lord above.

My religion is the most misunderstood one in today's world. It might be due to the propogations against it worldwide.I sincerely wish that I must try on my small limits to disprove many of false propogations that is being happening around my religion.

My faith is as simple as that. It is laid upon five strong pillars (Kalima, Namaz, Zaqat, Ramzan and Hajj) and 6 strong beliefs. To keep it simple, the 5 pillars are

1. Say that there is no other "God" except the one Allah and also Mohammed is our Prophet/Messenger of God - "'ašhadu 'al-lā ilāha illā-llāhu wa 'ašhadu 'anna muħammadan rasūlu-llāh"

2. The 5 prayers that should be offered daily. [ Fajr - the early morning worship, zuhr - the mid noon prayer, azhar - the afternoon prayer, magrib - the evening prayer and eshah - the before sleep prayer]

3. Alms giving - is giving a fixed portion of accumulated wealth by those who can afford it to help the poor or needy and for those employed to collect Zakat; also, for bringing hearts together, freeing captives, for those in debt and for the (stranded) traveller. It is considered a religious obligation (as opposed to voluntary charity) that the well-off owe to the needy because their wealth is seen as a "trust from God's bounty".
[reference - Wikipedia]

4. Fasting during the month of Ramdan

5.The Pilgrimage - Every able bodied Muslim who can afford it must make the pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in his or her lifetime.

Like a 5 petalled flower this is what my faith is built.

In addition the beliefs that we as a muslim is entitled to stand upon are:

1. Believe that there is only one God known as Allah (The Almighty)
2. Believe in Angels (Who perform duties to Allah, for example - noting down our good and bad deeds, taking a person's soul....etc)
3. Believe in Revelations (Believeing on the Holy Quran and other revelations by the angel Gabriel)
4. Believe in Prophets (all prophets including Moses (peace be upon him), Jesus (peace be upon him) and Mohammed (peace be upon him))
5. Believe in resurrection and judgement ( A day will come on which we shall all be judged for our deeds based on our life here in the world)
6. Believe in Predestination ((The belief in Divine Predestination includes belief in four things: 1) God knows everything.  He knows what has happened and what will happen.  2) God has recorded all that has happened and all that will happen.  3) Whatever God wills to happen happens, and whatever He wills not to happen does not happen.  4) God is the Creator of everything.))

As simple as it is said, as simple is it to live and obey.People should not make it harder by propagating against this beautiful way of life shown by Allah. These are basic guidelines and holy books have also shown us guidance on how to live our daily life.I shall continue to write on it ..Inshah Allah....

This has been the first time I have started writing for a cause. A cause for my faith. An answer for many questions from many of whom I have known personally but have not chosen the faith.Note to my friendly readers: I promise not to hurt anyone with words that I write. If any feels so,please write to me for corrections.I am only a human who shall commit mistakes :-)

Sharing a small prayer of ours which is believed to  fade away all your pains if recited when in distress or trouble or worry:

This beautiful prayer is named "Al Fatihah"

"In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

[All] praise is [due] to Allah , Lord of the worlds -

The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,

Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.

It is You we worship and You we ask for help.

Guide us to the straight path -

The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray."

May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be with you all.

My little Bride

After so many days saw a movie which is still lingering in my heart and memory.
The movie has only a simple story line - A couple forced into marriage by parents' / grandparent's will and then how love is blooming between them.
The movie begins and ends like a soft smoothie ice cream or a soft melodious song.

I now understand how the Korean movies win the best films in World film festivals.

The fact of love remains universal despite of language or culture or countries.

I admired the cute marriage even though it could be termed Child marriage in Indian legal terms.
At the present world conditions Child marriage is no big crime, but would be really good solution for the society's problems I wish.

Why can't a girl be secured by means of a marriage? Because I believe that marriage is a kind of a security in today's society.

These days grown ups and eligible bachelors and bachelorettes are increasing in the society and so is the problems they cause. The term "friendship" getting used and misused a lot between the genders. The purity in marriage will actually enrich the true relations much better I think. And also the "fake relations" would get reduced slowly if real relations flourish more in number.Artificially creating a "friendship" tag to go and party along with the opposite sex is not a means of freedom, but mere "opposite gender attraction" which is impulsive and a not lasting relation.

I like the way she openly confesses and throws away her boy friend relationship when she realizes the value of her true partner. True partners never take advantage of whatever your situation is. And having the protection of a family in a relationship is also well depicted in this movie.

The movie also depicts how a good friendship and understanding is growing day after day in a marriage. And only good friendship can create a good love in marriage.

Jealousy, Attraction, possessiveness and other "villains" of love are also neatly portrayed in this movie.
A cute love story I would recommend all couples to watch.

The scenes are still lingering in my memory and I fell in love again with my partner, friend, boyfriend (all in one my loving husband ) after watching this movie.

What have these STARS done to our nation to celebrate them?

Aishwarya Rai / Sachin Tendulkar / Movie screen actors/actresses / Sports Stars

The STARS as we call them generally or "celebrities" whom we celebrate for no valid reason, have you ever thought what have they contributed towards this society/nation for us to adorn them.
The youth of this nation spends king's share of their time, energy and money for these blind fan following.
And these celebrities and other commercial brands which are most obviously multinationals loot this ignorant millions of our nation.
There is a economical leakage happening in our nation due to these brands and brand ambassadors.
Women degraded as bikini material for seducing?????

Aishwarya Rai or Priyanka Chopra is only two among the 1.2 billion of us (Indians). There are few millions in this great nation who does not even know that people like this also live in this country out of their expenses.
Yes, I am saying it right, few among billions live at the expenses looted from our nation as a whole. Why blame only the politicians? Because these politicians receive funds from these STARS to provide a hassle free life only for these few at the expense of billions of us.

A movie release day is now a reason to celebrate/spend in our Nation in this century, which is absolutely shameful. Now as the population of Indians had grown in other countries this celebration is extended among NRI Indians too. These people willfully spend an amount on a single movie release day which would be enough to support an year of education to an youth in India. And they speak of India not developing. Without even thinking what they have contributed to it.

What does a movie have to do in your life?
If you ask this question to any of these fan follower he would say "Its our star's movie", "It should be a hit".

World class movies/ world movies should spread some message to its viewers. But what kind of movies do we make in India now?
Is it helping India/Indian culture/heritage?
It is just a show off of one or two so called "hero"/"heroine"/"glamour girl".
Today's youth spoils whole of its time in adoring/admiring and worshiping these so called stars.

Relationships at all level is spoiled and rotten these days. People pay much attention in life to these stars and admiration while ignore the important few in their life.

It may include parents, siblings, neighbors, close relations, cousins, teachers, etc

What is Aiswarya Rai? or who is she?

How is she a role model to women in India? How she is she a representative of women in India?

She chose "modeling" and "acting" as her career. Did spend a lot of money to reach beauty pageants. won the contest.

The international cosmetic and fashion brands identified an icon to sell their products in the "widest" market of the world "India" and that is how her face began to run into all Indian girl's mind.

Any woman is just precious and beautiful for the "womenhood" she is gifted. And if she starts selling her "beauty" for worldy gains, may be it be money or fame, she is becoming nothing less than a prostitute.
Women labelled prostitutes do not enter prostitution for material gains. But sometimes worst form of hunger and poverty.

She is not a businesswomen, she has not excelled in any chosen talent/skill, she has not struggled for any women freedom. Just by telling the word "Mahatma" she entered into world media and gained popularity which she began to sell after that for her personal gain.

Today half of women population who are of average complexion in India (due to Indian ethinicity) buy "cosmetics" branded by the icons like "Aishwarya Rai" and go behind this external beauty.
And by doing that they forget the values/goodness/essence of being a woman.

Since she does not worry about gaining pounds after delivery does not make her an ideal example of "women hood" or motherhood. The moral values of pictures she has acted would spit back at her when her daughter gets to see them.

There must be obvious but "unknown" to public reasons why she has not started selling herself as an asset again post delivery.
She has glorified her pregnancy by doing some "great" (well paid) advertisements so that she could make money at that point as well.

Has not India seen pregnant women running behind buses to board at work?
Has not India seen before pregnant women in career?

But all these becomes news material because these people are brand ambassadors/icons of multinational brands. And brands promote each other. Remember not for the welfare of the society.

Sachin,
The top to toe "brand" icon and now a multimillionaire representative to Indian parliament.......India's future in whose hands????

O God, forgive those sinners who equate this man to you.

An ordinary man again becoming a "brand". From boost to reynolds pen, would only sell among Indian youth if it comes from a cricket star.
What has he ultimately done to India?

Saved millions from poverty or hunger??
Provided jobs to thousands??

Posh cars , posh bungalows, posh living all for personal gain at expense of millions of fools who just adorn and worship him.

A cricket player is nothing but a cricket player. He can play cricket and that's it.
He does not even know what India is and what types of people live in India.

He is top to branded and sponsored program telecasted once in a while when he is not in Switzerland or US/UK in other words when he is not in a holiday.

Cricket is only one sport which actually should be banned now because it is no more a sport played with sportsmanship.
It is like a mafia, a business, an industry in itself.

All players in Indian team are good players and that is why they are told to represent India when they play. But now its individuals who play in cricket.

Like in movie "Chak de India" someone should remove all these brands from Indian sports and replace with good players who can play well as a team India.

Even though crossed age of retirement the plastic form of the brand Sachin still stays on the field to market himself and make that much more of earnings to pocket.

And shameless fools in the country call him on the name of the Creator.

What else has he done to this nation except "playing cricket".

He has never ever even spoken addressing the "youth" of India and given any speech of motivation. All he says in public is "Thank you people for your support" and "The secret of my success is blah blah blah".

And now a member of the parliament. On what criteria???????

To represent sports?? nah...... To be a representative of "pure millionaires club" who recently hoisted him a private party calling him a "legend".

I feel ashamed that he takes the credit as a LEGEND in this nation while having done nothing to this NATION.

Movie makers and heroes and heroines.

These people should take the moral responsibility of spreading the idea of a worst culture in India.
All these glamour women in movies should have gone for Prostitution because they are 100 % responsible for any girl getting molested in this nation.
Acting/seducing in the screen to trigger the "sex" hormones in the vigorous animal like men.
They enter into roads like dogs searching for prey to attack and satisfy their hormones.

And these girls who triggered prostitution gets paid enough to travel by car/live in multi-storeyed bungalows.

All these wrong doers have enough money at hands so that they don't have to live by any laws of society.

They can live together with any number of men before getting settled to "one" man as "pativrita".
They can ignore traffic rules, they can ignore tax rules and in order for not getting punished they pour in money to all politicians / rulers in their own states.ulat
After getting funded for elections through these mafia's how can not they repay them after elections.
So an unwritten coagulation happens even before elections.
This coagulation helps these STARS to live in this nation as KING/QUEEN in their own kingdom not even having the need to worry about Indian people who make them STARS.

And these people are the real fools.

Holding these STARS and wishing that they shower lights on them or their lives.

Every Indian should IGNORE these star icons/brand icons and start living for your own worth. Have your own personality. Cultivate and grow your talents,
Admire and follow lives of "real life Heroes" who have given lives for India.

Not people who sell themselves as brand for high quality living.

These STARS are never going to find a solution to your day to day problems of life.
Neither are they bothered about rise in petrol price, rice in vegetable price, rise in school fee, elections in India, rainfall in India, India winning Olympics, India becoming developed, Indian economy booming, India eradicating poverty, Indian women treated well, India eradicating unemployment....And many many life problems of the 1.2 billion Indians.

These women in glamour do not teach worth of women but exploit women hood for personal gains.
These women are a shame to women hood.

Live for yourself shine yourself like a star instead of expecting light from STARS.

Remember people like J.R.D Tata, Indhira Nooyi, Kiran Bedi, they all did not sell themselves as commodities. They served India to feel proud of.

And these STARS sell INDIA for them to feel pride on FERRARIS and VILLAS in foreign countries.

Where did all these girls go away?

It was lunch time and I was at the cafeteria queue to take away my lunch. In the long queue, I observed that the only female was myself! And even in the cafetaria I could spot easily where women were seated. Because they were countable. Is this the industry which says "they provide equal opportunity" despite "race/color/gender".

And again there was a second anniversary celebration of my growing team. The team consisted of about 60 members including the Senior Director, Project Manager out of which only 6 members were female.

Why is this gender difference occurring in life's competitions always?

A little analysis will be required here.I studied in a matriculation, English medium school in my district and which was one of the most renowned institutions in my locality. Almost all the middle class families and also upper class and even hardly earning poorer section of the society send their kids (boys and girls) to this school.

I studied in this same school from LKG, UKG to Standard 1 to 12th. Of which 11 and 12 classes were "girls only"
The strength of the class beginning from KG to X th, about 50 % constituted girls. That is of a class of around 100, around 50 to 55 were girls.

And in 12th we were around 89 girls. I am very sure of this count.

Later I joined engineering and in my class of overall 64 students only 22 were girls. So that makes it 34.5 %. Where did the rest 66% fade away?
Not necessarily all join engineering classes right? I understand that. But still the figure disturbs me.

Then later when I joined the IT firm, the first of it was an US based MNC, for which the gender was more or less equal and I found mostly ladies were appreciated into all higher job profiles including "Delivery heads".

The company in itself supported women through several of its social activities. But after that wherever I had joined the story was the same. "Only men" were seen on higher ranks in the organisations.

What might be the reason?

The career growth path has never been easy for a woman. In most of the companies if you analyze it very carefully the career growth has been given to women who were divorcees, single mothers or unmarried. This is not a "for joke" statement.
And you would find even "good for nothing" old aged men occupying those seats which otherwise could be filled in by eligible women candidates. This applies to all walk of life.

While we also went to same school, studied better among male competitors when we are equally responsible for total "productivity" why segregate women when it comes to appraisal/appreciation?

Its nothing but a reflection of a traditionally male dominated mentality in India. Yes I said it India because "it happens only in India". And that is why we are still "developing"/"growing" but never fully attaining any "development"/"growth" in any fields.

An incident 4 years back. I had completed 3 years of tenure with my firm. I performed my duties in my team with utmost sincerity most of the time even willingly sacrificing my weekends and vacations. I received good performance appraisals (from my manager who was a male), and he did appreciate me with an onsite travel from the team.
All took a turn when a "new mite" entered the team. Who started acting as a co-manager himself, did nothing of sort of work, but all sorts of "acting smart".
And it was immediately after my onsite my wedding was planned. And there came the most important event of the year "Appraisal".
The "mite" in the team started spreading rumors like "why should we appraise a girl who would soon get married and go to Dubai?"
I was also asked the same question by some of the team mates, whether I would join my husband in Dubai. And later it became "why not you join him in Dubai?".

It changed our decision. Because me and my husband never did plan about my resignation during marriage/appraisal. But once I received my appraisal papers and the explanation I received for not giving a good appraisal there was no second thought. It was like literally asking me to "walk out" of the team.
And the appraisal was given to the not so experienced, male subordinate/junior friend of mine, who was known as "left hand" to the "mite", which this guy intentionally developed to score in the appraisal.
There were few other senior (female members) who were upset over this appraisal process. But nothing could be spoken unless you are willing to resign.
The few who ran into competing positions equal to this men still compete a lot(a lot more expected when a woman comes to managerial role) to prove themselves a par with men.
But the same industry would keep, promote and appraise men who are of same years of experience simply because they are of "male species".

Ok friends, now you would have thought that I am exaggerating events.Listen to what one of my friend called me up and said recently. "Hey..I really understand what you must have faced those years, because as I stayed with the firm till now, I expected a good appraisal this year but the same "mite" has started preparing the screen play, that sooner I would get pregnant and it would be difficult for me to take up more responsibilities. And stating that he promoted so and so......"(who were obviously males).

Few other female friends of mine who were excelling in their career were asked to quit the same way by their partners so that they could be achievers in their own businesses/ventures. So it is woman who is willingly compromising her career and career growth for their family. Their own family means it may be your own family as well, dear male colleagues.

So now it explains why most of these women go vanishing from the queues at offices. But all these men want their daughters to be toppers at class, win the race while promoting female Bosses are still considered as hurt to their gender based ego.

These men still think women are made for "baby sitting", "cleaning kitchen" or prefer them for "just doing the left over jobs" (the actual work in the team) in the team for which the team gets appreciated in the firm.At the end of the day the credit should belong to the "Man's team"

Slowly , but very slowly, women entrepreneurs and CEOs and CIOs are coming into limelight even in my country. Hopefully we start admitting more and more women into senior roles, appreciating their hard work and efforts in all fields including the IT sector.

A reply to a doctor's message to Mr. Amir ji....

Note: The one in "black" is the letter that has been forwarded on facebook and other media....
My response as a general public is in Green

Neither me nor Amir afraid to speak truth...With kudos to "Satyameva Jayate".......
*********************************************************************************
Message to AMIRKHAN - READ AND SHARE ALL
MEDICOS N DOCTORS. - Seems like you are very sure none other than MEDICOS and Doctors gonna Share this?
Dear Mr. Amir Khah,
“NOT ALL DOCTORS ARE GREEDY” - We the public and Amir ji agree.
“THERE IS NO PROFESSION THAT IS ABSOLUTELY
CLEAN” - Agreed.
“DOCTORS ARE OBLIGED TO SERVE BY CHOICE, NOT BY
COMPULSION” -100 % Agreed

Sir,
I have been a big fan or your work, life and
principles. I am also a fan of ‘Satyamev Jayate’. But I
was shocked to see the episode on 27th May,
2012. You are an Icon. You should have thought
well and done the homework before doing such a biased show. - We the public never felt that Amir was biased. We all personally have good experience as well as bad experience with doctors. So when he presents a feature we would also judge based on our personal experiences. So calling it a biased show is totally unacceptable. But may be it appeared to sort out some people among you or some people you know made you call it as a biased show.

There are only two people in the film
industry that are being taken seriously by the
thinking class of society - So It again goes to your benefit on classifying the people of the society into "thinking class" and "
the not so thinking class", because the latter are the ones who become the prey to few doctors' greed.

, You and Amitabh
Bacchhan. So, when you give such a biased and
one sided version of a story, it hurts. - If there is a wound it does hurt.
Speaking
about such a thing on a “commercial” TV - The national television already telecasts the show to the general public who do not have access to this "commercial" television channel. So this reference to "commercial" is not so valid.
show is bad. - Definitely it is bad for "commercial" doctors. But Good for the public.

(I am sure you have taken a big amount, only
doctor are supposed to do charity and social work,
not actors!!! Right!) - First of all my dear friend Amir has many other options to make money. And he is spreading awareness not "charity". And yes, doctor's are supposed to do their profession with the cause of it.That is in a noble way.Not in the intention of sucking blood and life of the poor.We don't expect charity from "Doctors" We expect you to carry out your profession in a noble way.Otherwise ethically. For which you pledge during your convocation and receive the degree.

I want to highlight few important points here. And
yes I am qualified to make observations as I am a
medical student. - Dear medical student, you and your community is definitely responsible to answer the questions that Amir ji has triggered.

 1. Your guests and audience (the words were
almost put in their mouth) said that private colleges
charge a capitation fee of 40 – 50 Lacs for MBBS,
you should have also produced some evidence of
such practice. - Haha....I am rolling on the floor and laughing. Because in my family there are around 10 doctors. Out of that only two were actually eligible to enter into this profession. The rest entered this field only because their parents' could afford those 40 and 50 lakhs. And now I am seeing them with arrears on their papers beginning from their first semester. Some of them struggled enough to pass out in their multiple attempts on papers. And what proof do you expect me to provide???
We the family now knows whom among them is actually eligible to be consulted. That is it. :-) I am not a guest in Amir's program for your info.....

Like you call a victim in all your
episodes, why not here? - I am not willing to point out because of personal reasons :-) And my uncle's aunts and cousin's will feel bad if I expose them :-)

And do the same story Engineering, Architecture, Law and MBA colleges,
do you think they are clean? - An Engineer / Architect/Law/MBA does pay capitation fee to management. But as you know very well when we pass out the campuses recruit only the toppers. :-) People who struggle and pass out on the other hand only lands up giving his degree next to his name on Wedding Invitations :-) but not adorned as a practising engineer/lawyer/manager/architect. But that is not case with Doctors.Once you add the tag "Dr." to your name, the public see's you next to "God" with their life.

 Why target doctors
alone? - The reason is obvious why he choose to highlight the filthy side of your profession.

 2. You said Since 2001, government opened 31
medical colleges and 106 private institutes were
opened. – Please note that today in India, there are
a total of 181 Private and 152 Govt Medical
colleges. So the number is not as bad s you
projected. Don’t project only the time period which suits your story. - Whenever any statistics is quoted the year is quoted with the same intention that "well informed people" like you may argue over numbers. Stating accurate numbers is not always required as this was not a quiz programme dear geek.

Either give a complete picture or
do not give a picture at all! - We liked the picture he gave and also helped us to analyze and know how many numbers have increased now from 2001.And also, please find out how many of these
private colleges are owned by politicians? 95% of
Private colleges in India are owned and run by
politicians. It is a bloody nexus between politicians and MCI. The corruption by politicians is to blamed
for the mess, not doctors!!! - I am again rolling over the floor in laugh....Which politician did compell you to go and join a medical profession when you were not eligible? The dog's fight at medical colleges between the rich and the richest dads and moms, decide the cash price of the seat after allotment to rank holders. So even the non affordable eligible candidates wait if they get spit over seats to enter into this profession with all its nobility. But all they could see is seats bargained and "Sold out" to multimillionaires (sorry lakhpatis and crorepatis of India)
You yourself question and decide if this is what you have to do - That is "whether I am going to heal the sick?" If answer is "No" and if your wish is "How am I going to get this 40 and 50 lakhs back...?" please "run away" and lapse the seat rather than killing 1000s........
It is a bloody nexus between politicians and MCI. - It is a small bloody nexus between you and your forceful parents.Say them you can better become "Vasool raja...MBBS"

Politicians enter picture when "greed" of some people comes into picture...Knowledge source: I have witnessed the cases where medical seats purchased over bargain. via the support of politicians. And then please don't blame them when all goes mess.

 3. One of your guest (Dr. Gulhati) said that doctors
ask for 30% commission from Pharma companies
to write their drugs. That is baseless, over-the-roof
and sensationalizin g the matter. That is as true as
“Most Leading actors ask newcomers to sleep with
them” or “Lawyers take money from both the sides in a legal battle” or “Most chartered
accountants teach their clients how to save tax and
also pass info to taxman on where his client saved
tax”. I know all of you will shout “Where is the
proof?”. - Please calm down yourself Dr. Some of my friends' are also doctors. They pay commission of 30% to Pharma and even to doctor's who refer patient's to their labs/scan centers. These are unwritten truths/facts. And simply exposing any one or two as "proofs" would be a biased action as you said. The whole system should be changed. So this is not as true as “Most Leading actors ask newcomers to sleep with them” but as clear as "All doctors graduate MBBS before starting practice"

So are doctors!!! I am not trying to sensationalize things as you did
on your show by shading those fake tears, but just
trying to project that allegations are easy to make. - Me and each person who watched the show know what is the fact or truth Dr.Now whom are you dragging for support? Fellow people who do such activities?

I know you will say that this was the opinion of our
guest, and not yours. But you provided a platform
for these fake allegations. - So now you are worried that people have a platform to expose these partnership trade?

4. You compared the numbers of Licenses cancelled
in England and in India.- In India nearly 50% of illicit medical practitioners should be shut down and truly professionals (who do not commercialize medical profession) should be allowed to practice.

I must say your team is
quite resourceful and please collect and compare
following details also –
a.Number of doctors beaten on duty by goons
from various political outfits in government hospitals in UK and India in last 10 years, and also
the number of people convicted for such crime. - Please don't highlight and compare rare cases against visible references/quotations. Carrying out ones duty against odds is when you become an expert/specialist. How many IAS officers (which includes also all professionals whom you quoted before and also Doctors) face much more humiliation for carrying out their service?
b.The Stipend (Salary a post-graduate trainee
doctor/intern gets) or Salary and accommodation
facilities provided to the doctors of the two
countries.

A post graduate trainee/intern in no case worries about his salary/stipend at the first place in any profession(say Engineers, Architects, Lawyer...Please enquire and conduct a study on it...

c.The duty hours and working conditions of the
doctors of the two countries.
Duty hours???Is there something like that?Because it is those hours when doctors are not found in Government hospitals....(Not all but majority) These Doctor's run private clinics and advise patients to meet there(Read about a series of article published with proof's on a leading daily in Kerala and following that actions were taken by Government officials to ensure Doctors' were available on duty time...

d.The academic and research infrastructure being
provided to the medical students. - Real good doctors practicing in our country are the ones who learned/studied and conducted research/studies here in India ...some of them mostly received even higher education from our Country.
Patience travel cross borders to receive our facilities and treatment and you people talk about advancement in infrastructure???And going to study abroad is also a fashion/passion now. Even engineers do that. But while appointing on job a degree from India is considered the best!!!!!

5. You said that the most brilliant students who
take up medicine, should take it only for service to
mankind, they should go to other fields if they
want to earn. Why? - Yes absolutely....A student if he is bright and can swallow texts he should not consider medical degree as a challenge to his brain or intelligence. It is a profession which should be earned with an yearn to serve. Why the hell do you require a "medical" degree????To earn????Even a butcher can earn. I think the answer to your question is the movie - "Munna Bhai MBBS"

Are we living in imperialism?
Are doctors not allowed to earn and spend a good
life? You were asking Dr. Devi Shetty whether he can do humanitarian work and Earn at same time? - Do your work, accept your salary. Do not refuse service if you know it could be a life saver for the only sake of money. This is what we expect from you....Not charity doctor. And the profession in itself if practised ethically serves the humanitarian service. You don't have to carry your stethoscope and walk on roads to deliver your service. There are good hearten Doctors who already have displayed to us that it is possible to do humanitarian service and also "earn"(not for greed...)

This is like asking Amirkhan or Shahrukh-khan
their income and generalizing it for every actor in
the industry (Even junior artists). - poor or below average comparison for the second time.

 Sir, just as there
are only few Khans and Kapoors, There are even
fewer Devi Shetty and Naresh Trehan who run their chain of Multi-specialty hospitals spread all
over the country. See what it takes to become a
doctor and then give such “Geeta-Gyan”. - Don't "become" a doctor if you purely have money making as intention....There are ways like what Munnabhai does.......

a. 5 and half year of MBBS training and 1 more year
of Compulsory Rural Internship at Rs. 15000 -
20000 per month. (Any other field eg. Engineering, Management, a person would become
Postgraduate in this much time and start earning
double the amount.)
If one doesn’t study further, the pay at this step is
22,000 per month. - This calculation shows your greediness for money.....FYI -not all passed out engineers earn the same as you compared Amir Shah rukh and other junior artists....

b. After above 6 and half years of Graduation, 3 more years of Postgraduation, followed again by
compulsory rural / Government job for 1 year or
pay Rs. 25Lac bond.
If one doesn’t study further, the pay at this step is
40,000 per month. - Salaried...And still greedy??? Does this mean the doctors we meet daily views each patient with the expectation of meeting their budget sheet calculation???Or will they serve us with intention of giving us good health?????I was ashamed to see your calculation.....

c. After this above 10 and half years, 3 more years of Superspeciality , followed by 1 year of Govt job
or a Bond of Rs. 2 Crore. And the seats are so few with tough competition,
there tends to be a gap of a year or two in
preparing for various entrance exams. - So its one among other profession...This is what I was talking about. If you are determined to be a doctor..be one...else let capable and deserving guys come into this profession.Move aside and give them way. You just invest this money into a money making business.

 6. Why only Doctors are being forced to work in
rural and government hospitals after their study? - Because it is doctors who serve our country who are shortage in number.
Why only we should pay government if we don’t
want to do it? - Because the government also spends for your education.
The rural/Govt sector needs help of Engineers,
Lawyers, Chartered Accountants and MBAs also. - A lawyer can settle a divorce case only if the clients want him....Engineers and CA's and lawyers - all have to face another set of exams before they enter into these services. And willing candidates are always on queue...But for Doctors' we have to force. I don't think on any place after you earn your MBBS degree you showcase your percentage!!!! But we have to always come up in ranking even after passing out our 4 years or 5 years of exams.
Why aren’t the Engineers sent to rural areas to
design and monitor roads and industrials
development? - Engineers are already in government services and as I said by recruitment and ranking procedures.
Why aren’t the Lawyers forced to work as Public
prosecutors before they can join some big foreign
corporate firm? - This is a good suggestion...All lawyers would welcome this..But they too have exams to clear to climb up the ladder and become public prosecutors....

Why aren’t the CAs asked to work in CAG office
and various other government financial sectors
before joining Multinational Giants? - Would you appoint them without UPSC exams ?? :-) I would be happy to work...Am an engineer who hate working with private..but since have to go through exams and procedures still holding job in private sector...
Now government wants that doctors should not
immigrate to other countries without asking them.
Why? - The only reason I can think of is...We are going short of doctors(who would volunteer to serve in India) in numbers.
Are the IIT/IIM students stopped before they
flee to foreign countries for big fat salaries? - There is no chortage os engineers even if IITians go away.
So,
why us? - We need enough number of doctors for the health of the nation. Not all can afford private hospital treatment.

What is it that government of society has
done for doctors that they should repay? They bloody can’t even protect them from goons while
on duty. - Primary reports show each defaulting doctor has to pay not less than Rs. 30 lakhwhich includes the bond amount and the amount spent by the government on each doctor during the course of studies and the interest on this amount.

In Kerala last year, 528 doctors were sent for CRS out of which 201 have discontinued without giving proper reasons. “We have sent notification to 160 of them asking them to resume service. Notifications for the rest are in process. And if they don’t turn up, revenue recovery by the government will happen without any compromise,” says a senior official  at the NRHM in Trivandrum.

Students are given admission for MBBS, only after they sign a contract with the government for serving in rural areas for one year soon after completion of their course. There is also a provision to discontinue their service if they get admission for higher studies but they should resume service after the course.

But the practice now is that many of these doctors refuse to do rural service but join private hospitals or go abroad soon after the completion of their course. Also, junior doctors go on leave for preparing for PG admissions. This creates a dearth of doctors to attend to the poor and needy in the rural areas.

 7. You say that doctors are writing unnecessary
and costly medications. - Yes, some doctor's are well known for taking any diseases away within one or two day...I went to a so called specialist for my son when he was 1.5 year old. Luckily we bought the medicine he prescribed but read the caution on it and found it was a dosage for more than two year only!!!!!Since we read the dosage we did not start medicating the child..What if a parent fails to read it????
Do we decide the price of a
drug? - No you don't , but definitely as a human being with senses can prescribe the best priced medicines available.
Do we manufacture or give license to drug
manufacturers? - Neither do engineers manufacture marbles/bricks for building houses, but we suggest the best optimal materials that can be built for your home, hospitals etc..
Controlling the price of essential
drugs is a government job. We are helpless.- We are asking you not to control the cost of medicines....but for the same medicines which are cheaper why do you make your patients buy only costly medicines and that too from your pharmacy/commission paying medical shops???
Sir, its easy to point fingers. We don’t say that all is
well. But all is not well anywhere. Its a different
thing creating awareness about dowry or female
feticide. But its entirely different to comment on
such a technical and complicated issue without
getting into the details of it. - Every issue will be addressed one by one. But Health is wealth..so he chose to clean from the bottom up...that's it...
You have maligned the entire medical fraternity. - No, he has not. I, and all public still respect the doctors who value their profession with the purity and dignity it deserves.
For every 10 doctors who are doing wrong, there
are more than 1000 healers. - The actual situation is reverse now...there are only 10 trusted doctors for every 1000...
You owe us an
apology!!!  - Doctors society owes an apology to public for allowing these bad fruits survive and flourish even after knowledge of it...
This issue is not as simple as you think it
is! Please show stories which are unbiased and
straight-forwar d. You cannot do justice to such an issue, especially after charging a whooping
amount for creating awareness!!! (We hear that Amir has charged 3 crores for
episode of satyamevjayate in which he spreads
the message to doctors that they should not make
money and do social service!!! How sacred!!! I
don’t know if its true, but well, it’s the season of
allegations!)
“We Doctors may be doing little social service, But
at least we are not charging for it!” Admin - Dr.Azhar Sheikh=> Please don't tell all doctor's treat for free/charity.....The general public is no fool to even dream of it...

Celebrating Womenhood? Shame on you media!!!

My Nation has(had) a rich heritage and culture. The way it treated woman was much better years back. But today as education and qualifications increase "man" in our society turn to be cannibals.
A glimpse through the online edition of the newspaper which I read has revealed something shocking.[This was a compilation of only March - April 2012 NEWS articles]
These are only a small portion of what has happened in our Country as a whole.
But nothing is worth pride.

As a blogger I wish atleast I spread my concern among people who would be equally worried.
  • And there are some facts I still don't understand. What should be the role of media?
  • Just writing a small column?
  • Similar to a gossip............ ?
  • And then leave aside these news and move along to next news making item? What is the legal society (which includes both genders) doing despite of such increasing attrocities all around us towards "womanhood"?
This is my first step towards protest against the society which neglects "WOMANHOOD"
but celebrates the "Commercialisation" of womanhood.
I want all my fellow bloggers to read these with patience and think together as to what we can do together.
